Today’s crew announcements for the 2017 Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race in London has just revealed that five Hughesians will be in the Cambridge Men’s crew this year. A magnificent achievement.
Hughesians Ben Ruble (Bow), James Letten (3), Patrick Eble (6), Lance Tredell (7, CUBC President) and Henry Meek (Stroke) will make up more than half of the Cambridge light blues boat which is set to take on Oxford on the 2nd of April 2017 for the 163rd Varsity Boat Race.
We are delighted to hear the news and wish the Cambridge crews, both men and women, the very best for the race. We will all be cheering for our Hughesians.
