On the 2nd of July, three rowers from Hughes Hall competed in the finals at the Henley Royal Regatta.
Lance Tredell stroked an eight with fellow Leander Club and Newcastle University rowers against a German crew for The Grand Challenge Cup to only loose out by a length at the finish line.
Racing for the Visitors’ Challenge Cup Final, Patrick Eble and Ben Ruble, alongside two other Cambridge University rowers went up against a four from Leander Club. They put up a great fight throughout the race but Leander Club edged them out just by 3/4 of a length.
Congrats to them for reaching the finals in Henley and giving their competitors a run for their money as it is by no means a small feat! #GoHughes
