Launching in 2026: The Owlumni Club – exclusively for HHBC alumni

Alumni are vital to Hughes Hall Boat Club, providing invaluable support
through donations, mentorship, and sharing their rowing experiences. We
value maintaining strong relationships with past rowers and coxes, ensuring
their continued connection to our successes and traditions.

Alumni who join our Owlumni Club enjoy exclusive benefits and the
membership fees we receive enable us to invest in vital coaching and
equipment, as well as helping us to keep club membership and race fees as
accessible as possible for everyone who wants to experience rowing here at
Hughes.

We will have a series of different Owlumni Club membership options available for those looking to support the club. Membership subscriptions can be paid monthly from anywhere in the world by setting up a recurring debit or credit card payment, or annually through a one-off credit or debit card payment.

For UK-based alumni, we will be able to offer the ability to set up direct debit payments later in 2026. We will contact Owlumni Club members with more details when this is available.

Cost: £3 per month or £30 per annum

Benefits will include:

  • Termly HHBC Newsletter exclusive to Owlumni Club members
  • Access to purchase two tickets for Easter BCD – only available to Owlumni Club members
  • Access to Alumni Day festivities – only available to Owlumni Club members
  • Access to purchase two tickets for watch party events (e.g. May Bumps, Henley)
  • Opportunity to pick a song for our Bumps playlist


Silver

Cost: £10 per month or £100 per annum

Benefits will include:

  • Termly HHBC Newsletter exclusive to Owlumni Club members
  • 1 complimentary ticket to Easter BCD with the possibility of purchasing additional tickets – only available to Owlumni Club members
  • Access to Alumni Day festivities and other gatherings – only available to Owlumni Club members
  • Access to purchase two tickets for watch party events (e.g. May Bumps, Henley)
  • Opportunity to pick a song for our Bumps playlist
  • Name spotlight on HHBC social media and website (optional)

Gold:

Cost: £25 per month or £250 per annum

Benefits will include:

  • Termly HHBC Newsletter exclusive to Owlumni Club members
  • 2 complimentary tickets to Easter BCD – only available to Owlumni Club members
  • 1 complimentary ticket to a watch party event of your choice (e.g. May Bumps, Henley) with the possibility of purchasing additional tickets
  • Access to Alumni festivities and other gatherings – only available to Owlumni Club members
  • Opportunity to pick a song for our Bumps playlist
  • Spotlight (name, photo, title) in HHBC monthly newsletter, as well as social media and website (optional)
  • Special recognition at BCD, including the opportunity to give a speech
