HHLCCBC women travelled to Bedford last Sunday to compete in Bedford Head – a 2km race on the Great Ouse. W1 came second among Cambridge colleges and third overall, while W2 came fourth in their division!

W1 kicked off the Lent term season last weekend with Winter Head to Head, a race organised by City of Cambridge Rowing Club that involves a 2km piece raced twice: from the Railway Bridge to the A14 Motorway bridge and back. Boat Club Dinner – It’s that time of year again! You are cordially invited to a bubbly reception, 3 course meal with wine, coffee and port, followed by a raffle! It will be a great end to term and Bumps!

Congratulations to the M1 and M2! M1 improved 29 seconds over last year, beating Darwin M1 and tying with Selwyn M1! Congratulations to W2 and W3 who came 5th and 6th respectively! W2, together with W1, are off to Bedford next weekend for their first BR race off the Cam!
