Joining Hughes Hall Boat Club (HHBC) is a fantastic opportunity to experience the quintessential Cambridge sport. Don’t worry if you’ve never rowed before—most of our members start as complete novices. Michaelmas Term is the perfect time to learn, with the aim of competing in the Fairbairn Cup at the end of term. Many novices then progress to the First Boats for the Lent and May Bumps, and some even trial for the University team. Rowing at HHBC is not just about the sport; it’s a chance to socialize, make lifelong friends, and become part of a supportive community. We welcome everyone to join and train with us!
